Hi guys,
Between Gameplanz, The Kingslander, my house (and flatmates of course), Julie, Margaux, Caro, Kale, Gary, Rarotonga, my old car, my new car, the weather... damn, it's not that i'm lost but i'm friggin' jugglin' with all of this!
Let's explain a bit :
I'm working like a real MADMAN since I came back from the South Island. Well, fortunately I love it, this job's great! Good ambiance, heaps of responsabilities, contact with many technologies (ASP.NET, Delphi and C#, VB even, SQL SERVER 2000 admin and customization, Network admin under Windows 2003 (complete DNS, DHCP and Active Directory integration), oh I forgot the new additions : PHP, MYSQL, Apache and Joomla!). So yeah, it's a huge part of my life now. When Kale went to France to see Caroline (and visit occasionaly) I had to keep Gameplanz up and going and it really gave me a lot more experience (even if I knew the monster already ;-) and, according to Gary, I deserved a recumpense for that! So, he told me that... I'd come to Rarotonga with him and our clients! One week of intense rest, pub crawling, watersports and I suppose Kava drinking as well!
I've sold my old piece of rust called a car! the bitch costed me fifteen hundred and I had to sell it for one hundred and fifty : a good 100% loss ^_^ but at least I got rid of it! and it wasn't that easy! WOOHAAA ! Hehe, the new fun will come with the WOF, rego and purchase of the new one of course... those bloody cars are like an endless well were you throw all your cash, goddammit... and those bloddy kiwis built the country for CARS! so you need one anyway, yeeepeeeh :-/
While this time Julie is in France to enjoy the family, summer and friends but sadly some bad things happened and the smile is not as present as she expected. We're all with her in these difficult time. Margaux is as crazy as usual, trying to become the new actress of the 21'st century :-) We're having a lot of fun together, she's really a cool chick. Kale is back to work (haha, yu're my bitch now!) and we're making a lot of progress even if our deadlines are smashed by a year. Tom (Webb) who is a good mate, has worked with us for a while and he's leaving soon for another company : good luck mate and thank you for all the work and the good moments!
With my bloody flatmates (Jarred and Ijeoma) things are the same : a "bit shy" on the cleaning but well, they're good guys and even if I get mad from time to time things are pretty much all right. We're gonna buy a new washing machine (I swear it's absolutely necessary now!) because my mate Fredy is leaving Aotearoa and must get rid of everything he has. Good luck Fredy! We had really great moments together, between Saint Tropez (bloody restaurant) and after!
Well, it was a little piece of my life here, for once I thought about writting it!
Good luck to everyone, I think a lot about you all! If one day you really need to cheer up, come on then! And you'll why life is so great Down Under!
Cheers,
Kevin
